ALIEN LIFE, ARSENIC, AND DNA

On December 2, 2010, NASA announced that alien-like life had been discovered on Earth at Lake Mono, California.  The bacteria used arsenic rather than phosphorus in its DNA.  This was the first time that DNA has been found in such a radically altered form.  On the matrix below the axis term is ALIEN LIFE.  DNA is at the same skip as  the axis term.  The last letter of ALIEN LIFE (mem) shares a letter with MARS at skip 7. UFO at skip -1 touches the same letter mem.  ARSENIC is also on the matrix.  

Statistical Significance. As is standard in my protocol, no statistical significance is assigned to the axis term (first term sought, here ALIEN LIFE). The first key word sought was DNA.  As at was found at the same skip as the axis term, it is at a special case skip of N (the skip of the axis term, here 8,615).  Its frequency in Torah at skip 8,615 was added to that of the other special case skips of -N, +1, and -1. There was about 1 chance in 5.6 that it would be found at a special case skip on this 608-letter matrix.   The same rules were applied to UFO which was at skip -1. There was about 1 chance in 3.3 that it would be here, although it was nice to see touch the last letter of ALIEN LIFE.   If it had 4 or more letters in its spelling, I'd check for the MARS odds, but I have a rule that 3-letter words must have each of their letters within 3 letters of each other horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in order to count the word in the total odds.  MARS was at skip 7, so no value is assigned to it. 

    ARSENIC is also on the matrix.  One of two spellings checked for this term had about 1 chance in 4.5 of being there.  If the combined key words were based on the lowest ELS of ALIEN LIFE, it would have a p value of about .01176 which is 1 chance in 85.58, but alas the matrix arises at only the second lowest ELS of the axis term, so I cut those odds in half and arrive at a final p value of 0.0.23 or 1 chance in 42.8. I did not check for the names of people involved in the discovery was DNA. 

       What about the smaller matrix highlighted with the yellow background?  In 108 letters with ALIEN LIFE we have DNA  and UFO both at special cases skips. The chances for these terms matching the axis term so well were about 1 in 242 (P value .0041).  That is a significant match.  Perhaps the message here is that aliens have DNA (in some form).

       MARS was is shown only because there were assertions made on a science show staring Morgan Freeman entitled THROUGH THE WORMHOLE Episode 5 about DNA being transferred from Mars to Earth by meteorites arising from an asteroid or comet collision with Mars.

       While the relation to claims by Richard Robson is far from certain, for those who believe in following every potential lead, my page on him raises the possibility that the Mono Lake area may have more important alien links than just bacteria.
