2012 ELECTION TORAH CODE LESSONS LEARNED
Hope that America would choose the path of morality was severely hurt in the election. (11/12/2012)
On several occasions I was asked to make a prediction about the 2012 election based on what I was seeing in the Torah Codes. So too were other Torah Code experts. This article will review what we got right and what we got wrong. Its purpose will be to help refine techniques and to assist in making sure that we don’t use the Code in an improper fashion. To start with there are three basic points that I would like to address: (1) Any matrix published without a statistical analysis is worthless. (2) Any moral message derived from the Code must be in accordance with the 613 commandments of Torah. (3) Even strong statistics for a matrix are no guarantee that a prediction will come true. If this were not so, we would have no free will. I discuss this below in conjunction with an article that I did about an Act of God in reference to Hurricane Sandy. As it turned out, the hurricane did indeed effect the election, but it didn't swing it in the direction that I had hoped.
Figure 1 above: A collage of matrices about Obama and the election. Both Obama and Romney were strongly encoded with the word PRESIDENT, but whenever I tried to find matrices about what would happen in a Romney presidency, I failed. For Obama there were so many matrices found about his presidency that I had to publish a table of contents just for them. Sadly, everything seen was negative or disastrous.
THE ACTS OF GOD MATRIX - WHAT WAS RIGHT AND WHAT WAS WRONG: Here is what I wrote on October 28, 2012 (a day before Sandy made landfall, 9 days before the election):
(A) On October 28, 2012 evacuations began on part of the U.S. east coast as Hurricane Sandy approached. It was forecast to come ashore in New Jersey. Normally, as a category 1 storm, this would be a problem, but not cause for panic. However this hurricane was in the process of merging with another storm and an arctic jet stream wrapping itself around the storm. It was due to come in at a full moon which would increase the size of the storm surge, up to 10 or 11 feet in the New York City and Long island, New York area. The storm was also on track to hit Philadelphia.
(B) These are Democratic areas, and may cause Republican turnout elsewhere in Pennsylvania to dominate.
(C) A hurricane is considered by insurance companies to be an ACT OF GOD. That’s the axis term on this matrix. At the same skip is THERE IS A PRESIDENT. The only ELS at skip +/-1 in Torah of B. OBAMA is above ACT OF GOD. Crossing and sharing a letter with ACT OF GOD is IN M. ROMNEY and IN THE SEAS, AND IN THE RIVERS.
(D) The East River in New York is expected to flood, and this might also happen in the Delaware River in Philadelphia. As Pharaoh dreamed about an impending disaster in conjunction with the Nile River, Obama may worry about one at the East River flowing by Manhattan. Also going through ACT OF GOD is I STOOD UPON THE BRINK OF THE RIVER.
Let's look at the above four sections one at a time (as noted in the divisions added above). (A) describes the expectation that the storm would come ashore in New Jersey, that it would raise 10 to 11 feet storm surges in New York, and that it was also on track to hit Philadelphia. In reality, it came ashore as predicted in New Jersey, it raised storm surges of up to 15 feet in New York, enough to flood subway and car tunnels, but it only knocked out power to about 40,000 customers in the Philadelphia area. At the peak there were were than 8.1 homes and businesses without power over 21 states. As of November 11 in New York alone nearly 50,000 of the homes and businesses it serves were still without power Sunday evening, and 55,000 more couldn't safely connect even though their local grids were back online because their wiring and other equipment had been flooded. New New Jersey is included, at least 120,000 customers were still without power.
In (B) I noted that these were Democratic areas. This was true, but the power outages in Pennsylvania weren't enough to push the state into the Republican column. Nor did devastating damage in New Jersey and New York push those states into the Republican column. Why? That's a question plenty of fellow Republicans with egg of their faces are trying to answer now. Based on what I've read from my fans and from one enemy, there seems to be an answer that the press may not want to discuss. Romney is a Mormon, and he has always been a very active one at that. I don't think that I received any e-mails from Jews about his faith, but many or most Christians see Mormonism as a cult. For religious Jews like myself, we are angry that Mormons have baptized dead Jews into their faith with no permission from the deceased or their families. Thus we find that the Republicans had a turnout 3,000,000 less than in 2008. The Pew Research Center Poll stated that, "Those who said they are uncomfortable with Romney’s religion made up only 11 percent of registered voters, when factoring in those who are unaware of his faith." However, the margin of victory for Obama was only about 2%. There were enough Americans in the popular vote comfortable with having a modern Orthodox Jew (Joe Lieberman) as Vice President in 2000, but Christianity is based on Orthodox Jewish (and Torah) roots. But Christianity (like Judaism) rejects the Book of Mormon. Romney was extremely activen his Church, serving as a missionary to convert (we may assume) primarily Christians in Paris to his faith in Joseph Smith. Many Christians were concerns about Mormon beliefs that Satan was a brother of the Nazarene.
In the primaries this year, nobody in our home voted for Etch-A-Sketch Romney. I voted for Santorum, my wife for Gingrich, and my son for Ron Paul. As I wrote on May 24, 2011 (and before) my top choice was Mike Huckabee. My future endorsement of Romney in that article was given as follows: My support for Romney would only fit under the luke warm anybody by Obama category, however his encoding with the term President is far better than that for anyone else in the Republican field. As it turned out, his best matrix for the Republicans equated the next year to the nomination, but not the election of Romney. While my wife and I voted for him simply because he was not Obama, my son refused to vote for either man.
In (C) I mention the idea that a hurricane is an act of God and show that the rivers and seas are discussed in the matrix. This is in fact what destroyed so many homes in New York and New Jersey. But in hindsight, it seems like God was so angry with these two states, who went on to vote overwhelmingly for Obama, that he actually hit them again with another storm the day after the election, knocking out power to homes that had just had it restored. For all in those states who saw Governor Christie of New Jersey embrace Obama, while no aid was forthcoming to restore their power it's hard to not think that you received divine rebuke for endorsing a man who spits on Biblical morality. If you imagine that the Democratic leadership or news media cares about you then listen to Chris Matthews of MSNBC here to hear the truth. He was glad the storm hit because it helped Obama win (although he later apologized in order to hold on to his job and family).
Am I happy about the storm hitting? No, but primarily because its victims failed to perceive a warning of far worse to come, and I'm not just referring to the Nor'easter storm that hit New York and New Jersey wiping out power again the day after the election. I'm talking about the nuclear threat that may undo our nation now that Obama has allowed Iran to move its nuclear weapons program underground where neither our bombers nor Israel's can reach them without using our own nuclear weapons. The story of how Israel has been stripped of its realistic conventional option and left with only the nuclear option as a viable way to destroy Iran's nuclear program and threat was published in the Jerusalem Post HERE.
The extended power losses in the Northeast are only the tiniest hint of what is to come if an EMP weapon is launched against our nation, as Iran has threatened to do. The three matrices that are most significant are as follows:
(A) ATOMIC IRAN.
(B) ATOMIC HOLOCAUST AND IRAN, and
(C) WORLD WAR
Figure 2 - Matrix with ACT OF GOD as the axis term.
Figure 3 shows how power outages were correlated with support for Obama and support for gay marriage. Outside the damage area, another Obama state (Washington) also voted to legalize homosexual marriage, while another Obama state (Colorado) voted to legalize marijuana sales, thus likely to increase the number of fatal accidents on the highway. It would appear that support of Obama is incompatible with basic morality as defined in the Bible. Obama's view of morality was well defined by his pastor for 20 years, Reverand Jeremiah Wright. PLEASE DO NOT MISS HIS WORDS HERE. But even a broken clock is right (or is that Wright?) twice a day. Our nation risks being damned by supporting a President who opposes Israel and who supports sodomy, and fawning over a former adulterous President Clinton who was impeached for perjury pertaining to it.
In (D) above, Pharaoh saw seven skinny cows come up out of the river and consume the seven healthy cows, even as many wealthy Jewish voters of New York saw the waters rise out of the East River and Hudson River to devaste their homes and businesses. Not all Jews in New York are rich. In fact, there is a rapidly growing number of poor Jews who are Orthodox, mainly due to their very large families (two out of every three Jewish births in New York are now in Orthodox homes). But as I write on my page about a New York Curse, some of the Orthodox community is so anti-Israel that it sent its rabbis to a meeting between Orthodox rabbis and Iran's Ahmadinejad. They may think that they are right to do so because Israel is too secular, but if they moved to Israel they could help make the majority Torah-observant. Instead, they give aid and comfort to the common enemy of Israel and America, an enemy who manufactured the more than 100 rockets and mortars fired into Israel just on November 11, 2012. It must be understood that this is how Hamas celebrated the election of the pro-Palestinian Obama.
STATISTICS AND OTHER MATRICES SUGGESTING A ROMNEY WIN. Here the most honest approach for me would be to repeat, word for word, an e-mail that I sent to my first cousin on the night of October 20, 2012, in which I predicted a Romney win. My cousin is not an Orthodox Jew. He is Conservative, a member of a sect in Judaism that has endorsed homosexual marriage. Although we share a lifetime of terrific relations and mutual interest in science (astronomy in particular), this election has strained our relationship a good bit. For at least a year he pushed me for a prediction that I was very relucant to make based on the free will issue. But here is what I wrote (with anything newly added in red):
It looks like my original prediction about Romney winning is about to come true. The best match with PRESIDENT ever seen was in the 17-letter 1 column matrix at http://www.arkcode.com/custom3_144.html. What about Obama? Well, since he was elected president at least once, we would expect him to have good matches too. Here I will refer you back to what I published in 2008 during the primaries then. See http://www.arkcode.com/photo4.html. I looked at John McCain, H. Clinton, and Barack Obama.
For McCain the matrix sizes were 176 and 32 letters (140 letters was in the Control). Average Torah matrix size 104 letters.
For H. Clinton the matrix sizes were 120 and 32 letters (52 letters was in the control). Average Torah matrix size 76 letters.
For Barack Obama they were 72 and 32 letters (48 letters was in the Control). Average Torah matrix size 52 letters.
So back in 2008 the person with the smallest average size (Barack Obama) won the election. #2 wound up Secretary of State. #3 won no office. The best match found in 2008 was 32 letters, and that area was found for Obama, H. Clinton and McCain. For Obama the best match was only on the 14th lowest ELS of his name. For Clinton it was only on the 28th lowest ELS. For McCain the best match was for the lowest ELS of his name.
BOTTOM LINE: In 2008 the person with the smallest average matrix size (Obama) went on to win the election, while the person with the smallest matrix when the name was at minimum ELS (McCain) won the nomination, but not the election.
For MITT ROMNEY the best match is in 17 letters, and it is the minimum ELS of his name. What about the 2nds lowest ELS of Mitt Romney. It's published at http://www.arkcode.com/images/mitts_odds.png. It took only 20 letters to get a match. So both the lowest and the 2nd lowest ELS of MITT ROMNEY clearly beat BARACK OBAMA. This seems to be matched in the latest Gallop Pole with Romney up by 6%. I have seen polls that also show Romney leading in Pennsylvania. (Gallop turned out to be one of the least accurate polls this year. Obama won Pennsylvania by 5%).
What's going on? My best guess - Obama either got caught in an affair and he had a fight with his wife before the first debate, or more likely, he was just informed that he had to throw the first debate. And why would he have to throw the first debate? Because Trump (or someone else) had the proof needed to show that Obama was born in Kenya, as his grandmother says and as he gave real clues about being true on age 307 of his book DREAMS FROM MY FATHER. That quote is shown on my site at http://arkcode.com/images/impeach_b._obama.png. but I really shouldn't go so hard on Obama, especially because in truth he is my younger brother. In fact, you can see from comparing our birth certificates that I was actually born 2 minutes before him. The two birth certificates are here http://arkcode.com/images/2_fakes_in_2_minutes.png and attached. HISTORICAL NOTE: Whatever was going on when Obama lost the first debate, he clearly won the third debate even though Trump threatened to release information that would destroy Obama. Trump never did. Perhaps his life was theatened. There is no hint as to what he was thinking when he made his threat, but Obama was clearly not swayed by it in either the second or third debates.
BOTTOM LINE ON THE MATRIX AREAS JUST DISCUSSED FOR THE 2012 ELECTION. Again, while the person with the smallest matrix when the name was at minimum ELS (Romney) won the nomination, he did not the election.
At this time we should review what was seen over a year before the Republican Concention. The posted matrix summaries has been on my Current Events Contents page since then:

Results for past presidents are here. |
As for the real value of such singular matches of a name with the word PRESIDENT, based on an experiment done by my son, David, I already knew that this word was not enough to draw a final conclusion. There was a tendancy to have a President's name closer to the word PRESIDENT in the Torah Code than in the Control text. But it was no slam dunk.
David's experiment took 3rd place in the San Francisco Science Fair when he was in 7th grade. He looked at Presidents Washington through George W. Bush. He concluded, "The Torah Codes hypothesis is that there will be smaller boxes for related things in the Torah than in the Control. The Null hypothesis is that there is no significant difference in size between the Torah and the Control. The results of this experiment seemed to support the Torah Code Hypothesis.
The Control did better in the following ways:
- The small matrix (15 letters for J.A. Carter)
- The lowest skip (-6) for Buchanan)
The Torah out performed the Control in the following Categories:
- The overall average matrices were smaller in the Torah (130.9 letters to 166.2 letters).
- 26 more compact matrices in the Torah compared to 16 in the Control
- If an excellent matrix is under 50 letters, more such findings for Torah (8) compared to Control (4)
- If a good matrix is under 100 letters, the Torah wins by a score of 14 to 8.
The Torah Codes hypothesis does not address skip, although most researchers think the lowest ELS or skip is most important. This is because if you have thousands of matches or matrices, some will be much better than others. The trick is to get the desired information there the first time a president’s name comes up. This experiment suggests encoding in the Torah, but shows that there are good matrices that can often be also made by Control texts, so we shouldn’t get too excited about just one good match."
The bottom line here was that the Torah Code only beat the control text (scrambled Torah) by a score of 26 to 16. So what are we missing here? We're missing the fact that while I was finding all those nasty matrices about the evil Obama over the past year, I was also looking for Romney and not finding him. There seemed to be an Obama Code with Obama at a focal point in history. But there was no such parallel Code for Romney, even though both names were spelled with 5 letters. What about letter frequencies? In unwrapped Torah, with only one computer pass through the 305,804 letters of Torah, Obama comes up 83,048 times with a standard spelling of alef vav bet mem hey (it came up 336,666 times in wrapped Torah). Romney comes up 54,986 times in the same skip range in unwrapped Torah (219,066 in wrapped Torah). What about the full name Barack Obama? It comes up once in unwrapped Torah (24 times in wrapped Torah). Mitt Romney comes up once in unwrapped Torah if we use a letter tet for T in his name (Hebrew names rarely double a consonant), but 20 times if I use a tav. In wrapped Torah Mitt Romney comes up 9 times with the tet, 104 times with the tav. But while it was possible to find so many more Mitt Romneys than Barack Obamas, again there were no great stories found about him to suggest that he would ever make an impact as President. It is possible that this was because I looked for Obama more, but there should have beenm something found about Romney this way, and there simply wasn't. This contrasts with the following (probably partial) list about Obama as of November 11, 2012:
Figure 4 below: Matrix by Rabbi Glazerson supporting an Obama win.
STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FIGURE 2. Figure 2 illustrates a problem that I have long had with matrices that are not based on the minimum skip of the axis term. Where the minimum skip occurs (with no statistical significance is added to the matrix based on the axis term, here ACT OF GOD) I simply multiple the probabilities together for all the a-priori key words to arrive at a combined significance. Normally I don't like to go much beyond the first five ELSs for an axis term, but whatever ELS rank I accept for an axis term, I divide the final combined significance by that number. Here the ELS rank of ACT OF GOD was 16, which is higher than I normally use, but dividing the final significance by 16 is supposed to compensate for the rank. However, if you look at the individual probabilities for each term, you find something quite interesting.
For the most significant term (B. OBAMA), odds against having the Torah's only ELS at skip +/-1 in Torah or an ELS that matches the axis term for B. OBAMA were about 560 to 1. The issue is where should the correction be taken with respect to the need to divide by 16? When I take it at the end of the calculation, with odds included for PRESIDENT, M. ROMNEY, RIVERS or RIVER, and THE SEAS, the combined value drops from 1 chance in 780,246 to 1 down to 48,765 to 1, but that's still quite significant. However, notice that none of the key words other than B. OBAMA had a significance better than about 1 chance 8 to be there. If the only key word I had was B. OBAMA, then I would have divided its value of 1 chance in 560 by 16 to arrive at about 1 chance in 35. The final combined value would still be high, but the real question here is what minimum significance of secondary key words should we require? This is an issue that I have debated with Dr. Haralick, a distinguished professor City University of New York. By the way, Dr. Haralick followed up my son's 2005 Torah Code experiment of presidential names. His paper is found HERE.
The issue that Haralick and I have debated is Should we include terms that are almost certain to be on a matrix just because there are a lot of them? To be sure, some times these terms do appear on my matrices, but when they do I always point out in the spreadsheet and accompanying statistical discussion that they are not significant. In including such terms and discrediting them, my sole purpose is to ensure readers that I have not overlooked them.
Before proceeding to examine a matrix by Rabbi Glazerson (see Figure 4 above and his video HERE) about the election, a word about Obama's spelling on Figure 2. As I mentioned earlier in article, the standard spelling is alef bet vav mem hey. When I find it in most recent matrices I only include it when it's at the absolute skip of the axis term, and then I weight it more heavily because it's at that skip. Why not look for it at skips +/- 1? Answer: It's never found at those skips in Torah, so the only skips that really stand out are +/- the skip of the axis term. However, there is another transliteration of Obama that I often check for. It's alef bet vav mem alef and it's found once in Torah at skip -1 (never at skip +1); and that one time it has a letter bet (for Barack) before and in sequence with it. So the 6-letter ELS is B. OBAMA. That I do check for at skip -1 on a matrix, and it's the spelling on Figure 2
Now let's look at Figure 4. First let me state that Rabbi Glazerson is our family's rabbi. His knowledge of gematria is extremely strong, but as I'll discuss below, I'd like to see him focus more on statistical methods (although, it must be pointed out that there is still no universal agreement on how to most accurately evaluate matrices).
What is right or positive about the rabbi's matrix?
(1) Although the rabbi is no fan of Obama, (sadly) he got the winner of the election right.
(2) The matrix is based on the only ELS in unwrapped Torah of the name Barack Obama.
(3) It speaks to a second time.
(4) It mentions IN THE USA.
(5) It mentions both ISLAM and HIS FATHER, but it requires a row split of 2 to show them.
(6) ISLAM is at its minimum skip in Torah.
(7) It gives the Hebrew year of the election.
(8) It mentions NOVEMBER and the Hebrew month CHESVAN.
(9) It includes EDOM, an opponent of Israel.
(10) THREATS are mentioned a skip +1.
(11) On the line with the letter kof of BARACK OBAMA, the following terms appear without the need for a row split: A., BARAK, PRESIDENT, SECOND, CHESVAN (the Hebrew month), AND WILL ELECT.
WHAT WOULD I RECOMMEND ALTERING?
(1) The word EDOM, as is shown on the spreadsheet, has no statistical value at all even though it has the same skip (but opposite direction) as the axis term. If there were no row split employed, it would be a special case skip, but it can't be seen without the row split.
(2) ISLAM (although it required a row split to see) may be worth it's own matrix. It exists in a 144-letter box with BARACK OBAMA against odds of about 265 to 1. But on a 2,160-letter matrix, it's only there against odds of about 3.7 to 1.
(3) Since the main topic of the matrix is the election, I would recommend eliminating the row split, and with it ISLAM, HIS FATHER, ISHMAEL, and EDOM. This reduces the matrix size from 2,160 letters to 1,120 letters, and increases the overall value of what is left behind. If everything was a-priori (which was probably not the case, but only Rabbi Glazerson knows), the odds against his matrix were about 1,504,281 to 1. But the odds against everything that remains without the row split are about twice as great: 3,071,175 to 1. What remains speaks more to the election with President, November, 5773, Chesvan, second and in the USA.
The real problem is that there are a few of us Orthodox Jews who know how the Code, but who can't agree on some basic rules. We usually operate independent of each other (although sometimes Dr. Haralick works with me, Dr. Rips, or Rabbi Glazerson, but we really never all work together on a common matrix idea). Those in Israel do not use wrapped matrices (with more than one computer pass through the 304,805 letters of Torah), which means they can't see much of what I find on my computer. In a perfect world, we would unite and have staff helping us because these problems require an enormous amount of time to address properly. Meanwhile it is likely to remain true for the rest of our lives that it's easier to find items in the Code that have already occurred than events that haven't yet happened - simply because we know the right key words to search for. There is a better Code out there in Torah - the Ark Code that shows where to look for the Ark of the Covenant. The Code is better because it relies not just on words being somewhere on a matrix, but rather it also requires a-priori course angles to be on the matrices. But to prove the value of the maps found encoded, I need funding for a proper expedition to El Zuqba, Egypt, and permits from an Egyptian Government headed by the Muslim Brotherhood. As mentioned before, Israel was hit in the last 24 hours by over 100 rockets and mortars fired into it from Gaza. They were made by the Iranians, but they were all first shipped into Egypt and then smuggled into Gaza via tunnels connecting Rafah, Egypt with Gaza. The Muslim Brother is the ally of Hamas. Thus the only way around the permit requirement is a covert operation.
CONCLUSION. As noted at the beginning of this article, any matrix published without a statistical analysis is worthless. Even a matrix with a correct conclusion after the Republican and Democratic party conventions will have a 50% chance to be right in predicting the winner. I did good to pick Romney as the nominee over a year out, but I didn't yet know what I do now. The person to be elected president should have an enormous number of related matrices. They were there for Obama (who had no opposition at all in the primaries this year), but they were not there for Romney. Sadly, Obama is encoded to get a lot of us killed via an atomic holocaust. I had hoped that God would prevent it, but if you read the prophets in the Tenach (Old Testament) it's pretty clear that they painted a horrible portrait for the coming war of Gog and Magog, which means Iran. See my matrix on Iran as Gog HERE. While it mentions 2011 to 2012 as the important year, this was the year that Iran was given the go ahead to complete the bomb thanks to Obama's lack of support of Israel. There were also major rocket and nuclear sites attacked by sabotage and computer viruses during his time, and assassinations of Iran nuclear and rocket scientists, all opening salvoes in the eventual all out war.
I wrote up front that any moral message derived from the Code must be in accordance with the 613 commandments of Torah. While some (liberal) people and atheists will label me as homophobic, I could care less about their names. The message of Sodom and Gomorrah is abundantly clear. Anyone who invents a god that approves of homosexual marriage is making his or her own god. That's idolatry. It must be opposed at all costs if we are to keep America from damning our nation.
Finally, I wrote that even strong statistics for a matrix are no guarantee that a prediction will come true. If this were not so, we would have no free will. Even Jonah turned out to be wrong when he preached about Nineveh's destruction. He was wrong and God changed His mind because the people of Nineveh repented for their sins (but many in this nation just voted to approve of sin).
There are very few people who know how to find Torah Code matrices, and even far fewer who understand the relevant statistics needed to get some sense of what is significant and what is not. This is an emerging field of study, that like any scientific field of study, involves some trial and error. I divide about 12 hours of research every day except the Sabbath between it and my Mars Research. My Codes research began in 1997. My Mars research began in 2009. It's too bad that I don't live on Mars, because I'd have about 37 minutes more each day to work. But I do live on Earth, and I'm not a prophet, so please forgive me if I can't tell you when the Chicago Cubs will finally win a world series again (they last won one 104 years ago). I may be wrong in my attempts to predict an uncertain future (and I hope am with respect to Obama causing World War 3 through his hatred of Israel), but I will do my best to not fool anyone with respect to the moral and ritualistic Laws of Torah. There is still time to follow the example of Nineveh, but that time appears to be growing short.
