ATTACK IRAN? NOT IN 5770 (2009-2010), BUT MAYBE IN 5771

     Even Michael Drosnin’s best seller, THE BIBLE CODE, published back in 1997 admitted that finding dates for an event in the Bible Code was very difficult.  In fact, there has been just about zero success in this area after one such claim about the date of the first Scud missile attack on Israel back in 1991.  Nonetheless, when we find what looks like an event that has yet not happened, there is always the desire to see if there is a date associated with it.  So it is with these matrices.  The first matrix was found late on October 4, 2009. It had as the axis term (first term sought) the noun for ATTACK in sequence with IRAN  at skip 79,410 (ELS rank #1, wrapped matrix required).  The Hebrew year then (5770) was on the matrix at the same skip, but a row split of 3 was necessary to see it.  Touching a letter yud of IRAN is YOU WILL BE DESTROYED.  The 4-letter Hebrew abbreviation for USA is parallel to ATTACK IRAN and 5770.  ISRAEL (a high frequency, statistically low significance term) is on the matrix, but not in any astounding fashion

      Why was this a dangerous prediction?  Aside from the issue of what it describes and the enormous consequences of such an act, if deliberately encoded, there is more than one way to interpret it.  For example, the phrase YOU WILL BE DESTROYED can have a dual meaning.  True, it touches Iran, but it's also true that it's from a verse those bodes ill for Israel (Deuteronomy 28:24).  The full verse reads, "HaShem will make the rain of your Land dust and dirt, from the heaven it will descend upon you until you are destroyed."  We are left to pray that if needed, Israel's anti-missile defenses will not fail to destroy what Iran would have descend by rocket on Israel.  This includes not only missiles based in Iran, but those based on Lebanon and Gaza.  Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system is not ready until the fall of 2010 (5771). 

     The Codes issue here is how far to extend the matrix with respect to matrix area.  As for statistics, there was about 1 chance in 62 that we would find the year 5770 at a special case skip of +1, -1, N (the skip of the axis term - here 79419) or -N.  The chance for USA to be on the matrix somewhere was about 1 in 2.7.  The odds that ISRAEL would be on the matrix at skp +1 were about 1 chance in  2.8.  Combined p value for the matrix with no value added for the axis term ATTACK IRAN, or for the a posteriori phrase YOU WILL BE DESTROYED, is .0021 or about one chance in 467.

UPDATE WRITTEN ON SATURDAY NIGHT SEPTEMBER 12, 2010 (in the  year 5771).  Now that we are into the year 5771, and Israel did not attack Iran in 5770, we can see that the year above was not predictive.  While the year 5770 did have the same skip as ATTACK IRAN  , it required a row split of 3 to see it, which was not so good.  Efforts in the Torah Code to pin down a future event to date have not rarely met with success.  The best evidence for encoding so far remains with the ELS maps.  In looking ahead this year, the ELS 5771 (really, the abbreviation 771) is in sequence with WAR.  It is, in rare fashion, crossed by a specific date - the 1ST OF THE 10TH MONTH.  In 5771 this corresponds to the night of December 7th to the night of December 8th (Chanukah).  ISRAEL is on the matrix in the open text, and IRAN (the shorter spelling of the country) is at an ELS.  If Israel attacks this year, it must deal with a functioning nuclear reactor. While I would be shocked if the date of the war is really encoded in this fashion, the matrix is posted here for the record.  Expect an update or further commentary here by December 9, 2010.
