FORT HOOD SHOOTER
PRESCRIPTION FOR DISASTER
On November 5, 2009, U.S. Army Major Malik Nidal Hasan, a Muslim, opened fire on his army friends at Fort Hood Texas, killing at least 13 people. On the first matrix below, in 504 letters, we can find FORT HOOD, SHOOTER (crossing Fort Hood), DOCTOR, and MALIK - the shooter's first name. Let's keep this discussion honest. There are lots of words not on this particular plot (unless I make it bigger). Missing terms include Hasan, Nidal, terror, murder, Moslem, and the date. I can put all of these things close to Fort Hood, but when I put in some terms, I lose others. The second matrix below is better because it is tighter and because it has key words (Arab at skip +1, and Shooter at skip -1) at special case skips. The second matrix also seems to make clear his motivation.
NIDAL HASAN'S MOTIVATION FOR THE FORT HOOD MURDERS
Hasan was allowed to serve in the U.S. Army despite the fact that he had openly expressed support for suicide bombers. He was opposed to defending America against the terrorists who attacked us on 9-11, and his sympathies lay strongly with fellow Muslims who he thought were being unjustly killed by America. On the matrix below we find his name as the axis term, NIDAL HASAN, close to DO NOT STAND BY IDLY AT THE BLOOD OF YOUR NEIGHBORS who he obviously viewed as fellow Arabs. The word ARAB is at skip 1 and SHOOTER is at skip -1. The phrase DO NOT STAND BY IDLY AT THE BLOOD OF YOUR NEIGHBORS could also an exhortation for soldiers in such a situation to rush killers quickly before they can get off so many rounds. Hasan supposedly got off more than 100 rounds before being taken down.
