CLINTON WEDDING (Updated 8/3/2010)

     On July 31, 2010, Chelsea Clinton married Mark Mezvinksky.  The “wedding” was performed by “Rabbi” James Ponet, a Reform Jew who poses as a chaplain at Yale.  Also officiating was a Methodist minister, Rev. William Shillady.   Mark tried to lend some credence to his own Jewish faith by wearing a talis and a yarmulke. But, as his wife did not convert, any children born of the  union will not be Jewish.

     Most rabbis will not perform an interfaith marriage.  Mark was nominally a Conservative Jew, and apparently he coud not find a Conservative rabbi to conduct the service. Those "rabbis" do so participate in the destruction of the Jewish people.  I looked to see if this wedding was to be found in the Torah Code.  I found a transliteration for MEZVINSKY at its second lowest ELS that had a transliteration for CHELSEA nearby.  In the 665-letter matrix was reference to a gold ring given for an engagement (Genesis 24:22), the word PRESIDENT at skip -1 immediately before it. Also in the open text is a statement I AM YOUR FATHER-IN-LAW JETHRO COMING TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE. Jethro, like President Clinton, was a non-Jewish leader of his people who gave his daughter to a Jew (Moses) as a wife.

    My criticism of this union comes not from purely academic terms, but  rather from painful experience. I once made the horrendous mistake of marrying a non Jew.  People change with age. About 70% of these marriages end in divorce, as did mine over religious differences. I paid for my mistake with 11 years of court battles stemming from an interfaith custody battle that was covered in the Miami Herald, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and even the Weekly World News in 1984 - this before I became religious.  You can read the story in my novel BAPTISM ANNULLED, an updated rewrite of my earlier novel A MATTER OF SPIRITUAL CUSTODY.
